Mary Ellen Conway, RN, BSN

Mary Ellen Conway is the President of Capital Healthcare Group, LLC (CHG), a healthcare consulting firm specializing in providing expert consultants and teams who work with providers to achieve excellent outcomes. Ms. Conway is a nurse with over 23 years of expertise in management throughout the health care continuum from acute care to alternate site and post acute. She is known for her special expertise in home health, hospice and home medical equipment as well as physician practice management.

A graduate of Georgetown University, Ms. Conway has been a faculty member of both Georgetown University and Catholic University’s Schools of Nursing. She is a nationally recognized health care speaker and author. Her clients range from small, proprietary home health and medical equipment businesses, to large, integrated health care delivery systems. Ms. Conway has been qualified as a legal expert in home health and staffing and routinely provides expert testimony for defendants in home health cases. While her consulting practice has her traveling nationwide, Ms. Conway resides in the Washington, DC suburb of Bethesda, Maryland.


Suzanne Clark, RN, BSN

Suzanne joined Capital Healthcare Group after more than 25 years as a healthcare surveyor with the State of Maryland. Suzanne was a lead surveyor reviewing and training new surveyors to review home care, hospice, ambulatory surgery, comprehensive rehabilitation, out-patient physical therapy and residential services agencies for compliance with Federal and State of Maryland regulations. Suzanne's expertise in the regulatory requirements for each of these post-acute programs is unmatched. She has taught programs on OASIS, home care and hospice regulatory compliance and preparation for survey. Suzanne is also very busy with CHG customers applying for a Maryland Residential Service Agency (RSA) license by assisting them in creating all of the necessary policies and procedures needed to obtain their license successfully.


Taney Hamill

C. Taney Hamill is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in healthcare. Taney has worked in several facets of the healthcare industry, including homecare, managed care and accreditation. She has worked with Durable Medical Equipment providers in various capacities for more than 25 years. Recently she was a Senior Vice President at Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA) prior to serving as the CEO of The Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Healthcare Industry Foundation. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for several organizations both locally and nationally. Taney resides in Annapolis, MD.


Mark Kemerer

Mark Kemerer is a service oriented leader with 36 years of healthcare management experience, 24 years of home care experience, 9 years of healthcare consulting experience, and 7 years of sales management experience and 2 years of sales experience. Mark has a very strong involvement in program development, consulting, regulatory compliance, accreditation preparation and risk management. Mark’s experience includes: ACHC surveyor, 2006 to present, Ohio Respiratory Care Board HME Inspector, 2006 to present and being a JCAHO surveyor, 1992 – 2003. Mark resides in Ohio.


Kathy Kiernan

Kathy Kiernan has been a consultant with Capital Healthcare Group, LLC since June, 2008. Kathy began her career as a Financial Consultant with Price Waterhouse Coopers in Washington DC and then in management positions at MCI. She has over 25 years of experience working with a wide variety of clients in managing financial and operational projects, and auditing business practices. Kathy’s work has provided her with many opportunities to travel extensively and to meet with clients and to train employees. She is a graduate of Fairfield University, and the George Washington University (MBA in Finance). She resides in Bethesda, Maryland with her husband and three children.


Susean Nichols

Susean Nichols has been in healthcare for more than 30 year with expertise in acute care, home care, and the sales/delivery of respiratory products and services. She is a trainer, speaker, author, and consultant specializing in healthcare operations, project management, accreditation preparation and regulatory compliance. For more than fifteen years, Ms. Nichols has developed policies, procedures, and training programs for clients seeking both mandatory and elective licenses, certifications, and accreditations. Her guidance and collaboration has resulted in improved operations, successful achievement of accreditation and accomplishments for many of her clients. Currently Susean is Principle consultant of Millennium Management Services and President of DME Consult, LLC consulting organizations. Susean also surveys with an accreditation organization. Ms. Nichols is a frequent guest lecturer at colleges, technical schools, and other programs throughout the HME industry.


Stephanie Shelby, RN, BSN, CLNC

Stephanie Shelby is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant where she has been professionally trained to review medical–related cases for attorneys. She also works with pharmacies and durable medical equipment companies in preparing them for survey and has acted in various positions to include Compliance Officer and Advisory Board member. She also performs mock surveys for the healthcare industry and works as Independent Contractor for Capital Health Group and HQAA. Ms. Shelby obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lees-McCrae College in Banner Elk, N.C. Professional Certifications include Multi-State License as a Registered Nurse. Professional Recognition includes the 1998 Citation for Excellence in Nursing awarded by the Governor of North Carolina. She also maintains membership in the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants. Ms. Shelby is originally from Charleston, S.C. and now resides in Banner Elk, N.C. and Summerton, S.C.


Stephen. Taglianetti

Steve Taglianetti has extensive experience training nurses and other medical professionals in effective P&L management and strategic territory selling solutions, networking and relationship building. He has successfully trained nurse/general managers and operational general managers in the management of an active sales pipe-line to achieve bottom line results. He has the ability to interpret client needs and develop customized “win/win” joint venture solutions. Also, he is highly experienced in delivering professional and effective sales presentations. Steve has worked with Capital Healthcare Group since May, 2007. Since working with Capital Healthcare he has provided consulting services to national healthcare chains. His responsibilities have included consulting visits to assure survey readiness to DME and Pharmacy clients throughout the country. Steve currently resides in Jupiter, Florida.
